Visit the delicious food market at the Sappi Mother’s Day Concert this Sunday

Attendees of this year’s Sappi Mother’s Day Concertat the Lowveld Botanical Garden on 14 May are in for a treat! Apart from soul-pleasing music in a beautiful setting, a diverse food market will be serving gourmet food and drinks.

And best of all, your picnic-style food can be pre-ordered online!

On offer is everything from sweet treats to mouth-watering platters & preserves, craft beer, Zevenwacht wine, an infused range of gins and ice teas… there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Also on the menu are mini chicken and lamb pies; mini bobotie; mini cottage pies; wraps; tacos; pizza; burgers; bacon and egg rolls; gourmet hotdogs; quiches; lasagne; curry and rice; boerewors rolls; biltong packs; chocolate, cheese and carrot cake; pancakes; slush puppies; and soft serve.

You can pre-order your delicious treats online and thus avoid queues, or decide on the day what tempts your taste buds. Roses will also be available for purchase on the day… or you can pre-order and spoil mom!

The day’s proceeds will be donated to the Lowveld National Botanical Garden for conservation development projects.

Buy your Sappi Mother’s Day ticketsfrom Mica (Crossings Centre), Crafters Market at I’Langa Mall, Steiltes Spar and at the Botanical Garden gates. Entry is free for pre-schoolers, while primary school learners and pensioners pay R25. All other tickets cost R65. A fundraising opportunity exists for schools too, as they get to keep R5 of every ticket sold.
