RandAid React logo(1)Most people have that one thing that is hard to give up and that we cling to, those habits that we use as ‘crutches’ to cope with emotional pain, stress, boredom; perhaps excessive shopping, eating sweets, excessive exercising or being too much of a health fanatic. We use these to escape or to have fun. People use drugs or alcohol for similar reasons and their addictions have become all-consuming and debilitating. New Inyoni Creek Complex Manager

Jenny was previously the manager of Methodist Homes for the Aged’s (MHA) Ridgeview Retirement Village and is proud that during her time there, Ridgeview was named the most improved amongst MHA’s 14 complexes. Line dancers dazzle Elphin Lodge residents

Elphin LineDancers 058 (640x480)The hall at Elphin Lodge was packed to the rafters when teacher Ann Haddow and the Elphin Line Dancers presented a show on September 9. Residents and staff of the Rand Aid Association retirement village and the care centre that is situated in its grounds – Ron Smith Care Centre – came out in droves to support, applaud and cheer on the 20-plus dancers who take line dancing classes from Ann once a week.
